The chief guest of the program was Dr. Ullas Kamath, Dean, MMMC, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网. Dr. Leena Sequira, Principal, MSON, MCON, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering. Dr.Judith A Noronha, Dean, MCON, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 addressed the participants with her motivational words and encouraged them to be better caregivers as well as to perceive higher education. The first session was on the Nurse's role in the administration of medication by Mrs. Sheela Shetty, Assistant Professor (Sr.scale), MCON, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网. She discussed on principles and routes of drug administration and also stressed medication errors and how to prevent errors while administering medications.

Dr.Anjaline D’Souza, Assistant Professor (selection grade), MCON, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 elaborated on Effective Communication in Health Care, which included channels of communication and appropriate communication etiquette to be followed while working in a health care facility. Legal and Ethical Issues in Patient Care were explained by Dr.Daisy Josphine Lobo, Associate Professor, MCON, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网. She highlighted on code of ethics and legal duties of a critical care nurse and emphasized common ethical issues in patient care. Fifty-four students participated in the seminar.
