Dept. of Child Health Nursing, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 College of Nursing, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 has organized an alumni guest lecture on the topic ‘Assertiveness in Communication’ on 28th March 2022 between 11.00 am & 12.00 noon. Ms Rachana Das, Unit Nursing Lead for Nursing Quality and Nursing Education, Aster RV Hospital, Bengaluru (alumnus of MCON, Mphil Nursing 2011– 2014 batch, MSc Nursing 2008-2010 batch) explained the differences in passive, aggressive and assertive behaviour.

During her speech, she said an increase in self-confidence, better communication and lesser guilt are the benefits of assertiveness. She shared her experience by narrating clinical examples of how to be assertive. The session was conducted as a webinar in Microsoft Teams and was attended by 97 IV year BSc Nursing students and four faculty members.
