A guest lecture was arranged by the Department of Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 College of Nursing, MAHE 亚洲通_亚洲通官网, as part of “Deeksharambha” (orientation program for the fresher students of the B.Sc. Nursing Program) at MCON 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 on August 4, 2023, between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm. The resource person was Mrs. Shilpa Joshi, Student Counselor, Department of Student Affairs, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Academy of Higher Education, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网. Mrs. Shilpa deliberated a session on the topic “Guidance & Mentoring”. She discussed the challenges faced by the students in their college life and future challenges. She focused on how to analyze a difficult situation by using SWOT. Furthermore, she focused on how a guide and mentor play a critical role in finding the solutions to students’ problems. A total of 132 participants (students from 1st-semester BSc) attended the session. The guest lecture contributed towards sustainable development goal 4 (Quality Education).
