Centre for Evidence Informed Decision Making (CEIDeM), Department of Health Information, Prasanna School of Public Health (PSPH), 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), 亚洲通_亚洲通官网, organized the Certificate Course on Scoping Review Methodology on the Premises of Interact Lecture Hall GC, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 from August 07 to 10, 2024.

Dr Divya S Patil, Mr Elstin Anbu Raj, and Dr Edlin Mathias were the instructors for the course.

The Scoping Review Certificate Course provided a combination of theoretical and hands-on sessions for developing a scoping review question, search strategy, data management, screening and charting of data, and designing a scoping review protocol. This course included student-centred classroom discussions by experts in the field. During the course, participants learned to formulate a review question for their project work and improved their ability to conduct the scoping review based on their topic of interest. Learning outcomes included understanding the basic concepts and the steps in conducting a scoping review; Identifying key differences between a scoping review and other reviews; Identifying the scoping review question; and understanding the reporting guidelines to conduct a scoping review. A total of 48 faculty, PhD scholars, researchers, post graduate and undergraduate students from all disciplines within MAHE and other institutions from Mangalore and Bengaluru attended this course. ?
