There is a reason behind the celebration of “Rastriya Ekta Diwas”/ “National Unity Day”. As a country of diverse social and cultural ideas, there was one man who made a difference when he united the princely states with the Indian Union after independence into what we know today as our “Mother India”. He is “The Iron Man of India” – Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In his honour, the students of WGSHA 27th Course, in co-ordination with their faculty in-charge Mr Valsaraj, organised an event to create awareness among the kids – ??????? ??????. A video on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patter was played and the school children were made to participate in an interactive session / Quiz to learn more about the single man who united the whole of India. The children realised that “when a single man can make a huge change, why can’t we as a nation, united, reach to the stars”.
