The Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics program, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 College of Health Professionals, MAHE, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网, celebrated World Food Day on 17th?October 2023 (Tuesday) from 12:00pm – 13:30 pm. This was held to highlight the critical role of water for life on Earth and water as the foundation of our food. Various nutritious and delicious drinks were served to the students and faculty of 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 College of Health Professionals, MAHE, for free of cost.

All the students of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics actively participated to promote water as important source for life and important source of food, which was the theme for World Food Day, 2023.

The poster for the event was created by the students of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics. The highlight of the event was to create 4 juices and serve it to both students and staffs of MCHP. The 4 choices of drinks were Rejuvenating Hibiscus Juice, Refreshing Cucumber Mint lemonade, Exotic Palaka and Flavourful Kokum Buttermilk. It was prepared by the students under the guidance of the teachers of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics on the very same day.

The second main intention of this event is to discourage plastic usage, no plastic glasses or cups were provided, and people were encouraged to get their own glasses or flask. We contributed to Sustainable Goal Development which aims to transform our world. The event was great success as all the four juices were thoroughly enjoyed by both staff and students.?
