Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, MCOPS organized a guest lecture on “Peptide Based Drugs” by Dr Mukesh Pasupuleti, Principal Scientist (Sc EII), Division of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology, CSIR - Central Drug 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Institute, Lucknow on 2 April 2024 via MS Teams. Head of the Department Dr Raghu Chandrashekar welcomed the speaker and the participants and Mr Kishore, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Scholar, coordinated the talk.

Dr. Pasupuleti elaborated on the fundamentals of peptides, their synthesis methods, diverse applications, as well as the challenges associated with their use. He explained different methods used to synthesize peptide molecules and their wide-ranging applications. The guest lecture was conducted for the benefit of faculty, research scholars, and PG students and was well received by the audience.
