The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore, proudly celebrated its Diamond Jubilee, marking 60 years of excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare services. The two-day event brought together esteemed alumni, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests for a celebration filled with reflection, knowledge-sharing, and camaraderie.
Dr. H. S. Ballal, Pro-Chancellor, MAHE, graced the alumni gala evening as the chief guest on 20th December. The event was presided over by Dean Dr. B. Unnikrishnan. The event also recognized the pioneering contributions of senior faculty members and alumni who played instrumental roles in shaping the department's success over the past six decades.
The second day featured a scientific CME program attended by alumni experts, faculty, and students. Renowned alumni speakers shared insights into emerging trends and challenges in women's healthcare.
As the department looks ahead to the future, it remains steadfast in its mission to train the next generation of healthcare professionals and contribute meaningfully to women's health globally.
