Dept. of Biochemistry - BIOALCHEMY: Transmutation of Life

The Department of Biochemistry, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, hosted "BIOALCHEMY: Transmutation of Life!" on 30th November 2024. This intercollegiate competition was organised for postgraduate students of Biochemistry, focusing on pedagogy and debate.

Dr. Shrikala Baliga, Associate Dean, KMC, Mangalore, graced the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest. Dr. Vivian D’Souza, Professor of Biochemistry at Kanachur Medical College, served as the guest of honour. Dr. Sheetal Ullal, Associate Dean, was also present.

Sathwika Shetty, a second-year postgraduate student from KMC Mangalore, won the first prize in the Pedagogy Contest. Sanoop E. and Siana Veedal Sequeira, also second-year postgraduate students, secured the second prize in the debate contest.
