CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Dr Asha Albuquerque Pai is an assistant professor (senior grade) in the MSW programme at PSPH, MAHE, having eight years of teaching & training and six years of research experience.??
Her research interests lie in leadership,? wellbeing, training & development, HRM, social work education and palliative care.?
She conducts training programs for the academic and corporate fields in the areas of life skills, leadership,? wellness, self-awareness, team building and communication.
As part of her academic responsibilities, she teaches different courses, including human resource management, social group work, counselling, and research methods for students in the social work master’s program. She supervises students in their research and field internships.?? She is the Editorial Coordinator of PSPH?
Additionally, she serves as a member of the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Committee?at MCF and is the Co-Editor of the NIPM E-Journal – HR Connect (ISSN 3048-5894)
