Team Robomanipal from 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Institute of Technology (MIT) emerged triumphant at the prestigious INNOVISTA TECH TED Challenge 2025, hosted by TAFE (Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited) in Chennai. The national-level event witnessed participation from over 200 teams across the country, all vying to bring innovative technological solutions to the agricultural sector.
The winning project—a custom-engineered robotic gripper designed for the precise harvesting and storage of seedlings—was lauded for its ingenuity, practical application, and potential to revolutionize modern farming techniques.
Third-year students Pratyush Agrawal and Neil Antony D’Souza developed the prototype under the guidance of Dr. Ishwar Bhiradi from Department of Mechatronics . Their work combined technical sophistication with a strong sense of purpose, addressing real-world agricultural needs with precision and care.
