Program Description:

This course is an academic and clinical programme held in collaboration with Nobel Biocare leading to the award of a certificate in Implantology. It offers knowledge and expertise in the science and practice of implantology, from theoretical science through restorative treatment planning to clinical practice in the direct management of patients requiring fixed and removable implant-retained prostheses. Participants treat patients provided to them under expert supervision. They have the opportunity to participate in the full spectrum of contemporary implant practice. The course includes four contact sessions of six days each approximately in the month of November, February, June and October.

Focus:

Participants will get to place and restore 10 implants on the patients with cement retained or screw retained restorations and also assist others in implant placement. The program comprises of didactic lectures, hands on training on models, live demonstrations of basic and advanced implant placement procedures. The highlights of the program include demonstration of direct and indirect sinus lift and grafting procedure, all on 4 Implant placement on models, immediate Implant Placement on models as well as patients,? hands on training on treatment planning for Implant supported removable complete denture (Locator abutment) on models, hands on Computer Aided Implantology (Nobel Guide). application of LASER in Implantology, One-day Basic Life Support training Leading 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 and National Nobel Biocare faculty mentor the program

Citizenship:?

Indian nationals can apply under the General Category. Foreign nationals or Non Resident Indians or Indian nationals supported by NRI relatives can apply under the Foreign/NRI Category.

Qualification:?

Pass in BDS from any institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Admissions:

Admissions are based on the completion of internship from a DCI recognized institution and there is no Entrance Test for this course. Admissions are based on first come first serve basis.
