Department of Commerce (Estd: 2007) is a well-established teaching and research department of 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Academy of Higher Education. The Department offers two Under-Graduation Programs, four Post-Graduation Program, one Post-Graduate Diploma Program and a host of certification programs in which 1000+ students are enrolled. Six research scholars are pursuing doctoral research in the Department. The Department aims to develop itself into a world-class research and consultancy centre.
The Department has established academic collaborations with fifteen foreign universities. Through?student exchange and faculty exchange programs with these universities, the Department has initiated collaborative research activities.
Six centres have been established by 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Academy of Higher Education in the Department of Commerce with the objective of strengthening the research and consultancy activities of the Department.?

Economics and Finance
Economics and Finance is a thrust area of research in the Department of Commerce. Being a department that has a majority of its programs aligned to this vertical, we have a majority of our faculties working on areas connected with Economics and Finance. In the era of micro-marketing rather than mass marketing driven by customer-centric markets, the concept of marketing intelligence provided through marketing research, not only helps in framing schemas, but also implementing marketing strategies. Consumer needs are difficult to predict, and hence marketers are busy designing strategies to enhance product and brand recall value. Over the last decade, there has been growing demand for marketing research and analytics, both in the academic and industry circles.
Our Department has maintained steady pace in identifying the growing importance demanded by this area and hence focused on academic research, market action research, consulting and corporate-led research.
