Conference on Emerging Trends in Pedagogy: Innovating Education for the Future

On 18th & 19th October, 2024, 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Institute of Communication organised a conference on New Trends in Pedagogy. The theme of the conference laid emphasis on the changing teaching learning process. Post Covid-19 the adoption of digital platforms for remote learning has witnessed an exceptionally accelerated growth which further has laid emphasis on the importance of technology in the education system. These technological changes have resulted in the incorporation of technologies into a pedagogical approach. Both innovation and technology which operates simultaneously are imperative for the teaching-learning process.
The conference was pleased to welcome the professors and principals of different schools all across India who presented several talks such on how hybrid learning combines traditional face to face instruction with online or digital components. Some of the speakers – Dr K.S Sowmiya Rani, founder editor and reviewer at Sowmis_AWW presented a talk on “Harnessing AI to improve teaching pedagogies”.
Ms Geetika Vashishtha , a media professional and educator with over 15-years of experience in journalism, digital media and teaching is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Environment Communication, Dr Poornima Panduranga? Kundapur is an associate professor at the Department of Data Science and Computer Application , 亚洲通_亚洲通官网 Institute of Technology also enlightened us with various trends in pedagogy – gamification, microlearning, flipped classrooms and the use of AI in teaching.

The teachers were pleased to review the students' work, offering positive feedback and commending their efforts. They encouraged the students to maintain their dedication and continue striving for excellence in their future endeavours.
