Ethanolic extract was screened for antibacterial activity against gram positive and neagtive bacteria. The extract showed significant activity.

The in-vitro models used are Acetyl cholinesterase inhibition assay, Inhibition of Albumin denaturation assay (anti-inflammatory) and DPPH free radical scavenging assay (Antioxidant). In-vivo models used is Morris water maize assay.
